Dutton dismisses Indonesian boat warning

Immigration Minister Peter Dutton has dismissed repeated warnings from Indonesia that turning back asylum-seeker boats could jeopardise bilateral relations.

杭州桑拿

In the latest turn back six Bangladeshi men and two Indonesian crew were offloaded on to a local fishing boat off the province of East Nusa Tenggara.

It came at a delicate time diplomatically with Mr Dutton and Foreign Minister Julie Bishop scheduled to attend a ministerial meeting of the Bali Process on March 22.

The conference is the major regional summit focused on tackling people smuggling.

It was postponed last year because of friction between Australia and Indonesia over turn backs.

Indonesian Foreign ministry spokesman Arrmanatha Nasir on Thursday described the policy as “dangerous action and not the permanent solution to overcome the problem of irregular migrants”.

Indonesia favours cooperation between origin, transit and destination countries rather than unilateral action.

Mr Dutton on Friday declined to comment about “on water activities” but acknowledged Border Force patrol teams are often called on to render assistance to vessels in distress.

They were also focused on ensuring people smugglers didn’t get back into business.

Mr Dutton played down Indonesian anger over turn backs.

“We’ve got a good relationship with Indonesia and work closely with them,” he told reporters in Melbourne, noting Australia provided the most financial aid to support asylum seekers stuck in limbo in Indonesia.

“We know there are about 14,000 people who are in Indonesia ready to hop on boats now.”

Border Force commissioner Roman Quaedvlieg has confirmed an Australian maritime patrol had assisted an Indonesian vessel in distress but did not scuttle it.

“Vessel was NOT scuttled – was unseaworthy and sank, (passengers) assisted and okay,” he tweeted.

McGowan sure he’ll lead WA Labor to poll

WA opposition leader Mark McGowan is certain he will lead Labor to the next election and will not call on Stephen Smith to declare his intentions amid speculation MPs want the former federal minister at the helm.

杭州桑拿

After weeks of persistent rumours, a significant number of Labor MPs are said to be unhappy with Mr McGowan’s leadership and don’t believe he will win despite being ahead in the polls.

With a dramatic 10-seat swing needed to ensure victory at the 2017 election – exactly a year away – former state secretary John Halden has revealed he wants him replaced.

But Mr McGowan, who has been leader for four years, says Mr Halden is wrong and he has the support of the vast majority of his colleagues.

“I am absolutely 100 per cent sure I will lead WA Labor to the next election,” he told reporters on Friday.

“It is a big challenge to win but I’m confident that we can win.”

Mr McGowan said it was up to Mr Smith to rule a challenge in or out.

“I’ll let Stephen make his own judgments – you’ll have to ask him.”

Mr Smith, who is not an MP and would have to be parachuted in as former Queensland premier Campbell Newman was, has not returned calls about the speculation.

The issue is set to come to a head at a Labor caucus meeting on Monday.

Mr McGowan said West Australians did not want to see the disunity that plagued federal Labor during the Rudd and Gillard years, describing it as “the Canberra disease” of “chopping and changing”.

“I think they want stability, they want certainty, they want people in positions like mine to get on with the job,” he said.

Former federal opposition leader Kim Beazley threw his support behind Mr McGowan at a joint press conference but would not say whether Mr Smith had spoken to him about any challenge.

“If we’d had any discussion about state politics at all, I would not tell you because one of the joys of being a pensioner is I don’t have to anymore,” Mr Beazley said.

Leader of the opposition in the upper house Sue Ellery has also publicly backed Mr McGowan, saying she is unaware of anyone trying to oust him and it has been “a long time” since Mr Halden was in caucus.

“There’s no whispering in the corridors, there’s no phones running hot, there’s no fights in caucus,” she told 6PR radio.

Premier Colin Barnett said the state election would be close regardless.

“Stephen’s got a long career in federal politics but he’s not a member of parliament and I think that’s a very unusual and strange situation,” he told reporters.

Mr Barnett reiterated if the Liberals won the election, he would hand over the leadership towards the end of that term.

Fukushima disaster five years on

Japan is remembering the thousands of people who lost their lives in the massive earthquake and tsunami that hit Fukushima five years ago.

杭州桑拿

The magnitude 9 quake struck offshore on a Friday and killed nearly 20,000 people.

And it left behind a nuclear catastrophe that still raises many questions.

Shortly after the earthquake struck Japan on March 11, 2011, the country’s north-east was flooded with large swathes of water as it unleashed a powerful tsunami.

Five years later, on the anniversary, these residents are remembering the experience.

(First:) “I thought I would die. It was really huge.”

(Second:) “I was on the Yamanote line train. And it was the biggest I’ve ever felt. It was very frightening.”

(Third:) “At first, I thought I had a puncture and a concrete boulder fell onto my car.”

The tsunami triggered the world’s worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl in 1986.

It crippled the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant, where meltdowns in three reactors spewed radiation over a wide area of the countryside, contaminating water, food and air.

At one stage, Japan upgraded its nuclear emergency to a maximum 7 on an international scale of atomic crises.

It was the first time the ranking had been invoked since Chernobyl.

The nuclear emergency also stoked anxiety in other countries, with some panic-buying of iodine pills.

Australia ordered a halt to food imports from areas near the plant.

That came as the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong imposed similar bans.

Shun Ikeda is from the Japan Centre at the Australian National University in Canberra and is also vice president of the Australia Japan Society.

Mr Ikeda says Japan has been vulnerable to shifts in tectonic plates and, as a result, tsunamis are, unfortunately, a part Japan’s history.

But speaking back in 2011, he admitted the scale of the disaster took many by surprise.

“I am sort of shocked and still have not recovered from the horrible scenes on TV and so on. But for the generosity and the sympathy and kind thoughts from the Australian people, we are very much appreciative.”

More than 160,000 people were evacuated from nearby towns.

Some areas still remain no-go zones, due to the high radiation.

Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe has promised to speed up the decontamination process.

(Translated)”We are moving faster to improve the environment, so that, by March next year, we hope to lift the evacuation orders in all regions — except to the … in Fukushima as well, except for the most difficult areas.”

Around 10 per cent of those evacuated still live in temporary housing across Fukushima prefecture.

Most have now settled outside their hometowns and have begun new lives.

Leak of ‘IS documents could be major breakthrough’

A former fighter with the self-proclaimed Islamic State, or IS, has reportedly leaked thousands of files from the militant group.

杭州桑拿

The discovery could help global intelligence authorities expose supporters of the organisation from more than 50 countries.

Documents belonging to IS have been handed over to a British news outlet, potentially revealing the names of more than 20,000 supporters.

A memory stick containing the files was passed from an apparent former member of the Free Syrian Army, who later joined IS, to a journalist with Sky News.

The man, calling himself Abu Hamed, says he became disillusioned with the organisation and stole the records from its internal security force.

(Translated)”I want to say to people on the inside of the organisation, ‘The organisation is a lie. It is not Islam. There is nothing that ever follows the sharia or Islam. It’s far from Islam.'”

He alleges the group has been taken over by ex-soldiers from Iraq’s Baath party, formerly led by then-president Saddam Hussein.

If genuine, the documents could provide global intelligence authorities with important information in the fight against IS, helping them identify recruiting agents and foreign fighters.

Most of the members are believed to originate from countries in the Middle East, while European numbers are dominated by recruits from France, Germany and Britain.

An estimated 150 Australians are also believed to be fighting in overseas groups such as IS, also known as ISIS or Daesh.

German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere says the leak could have a huge effect on national and international operations.

(Translated)”They offer the great opportunity to find evidence that German citizens participated in terror activities of the so-called Islamic State. In this way, we could speed up and enhance our investigations, and there will be tougher prison sentences. We can also improve our understanding of the structures of this terror organisation.”

Some documents reportedly among the thousands included are enrolment forms for IS supporters and their relatives, as well as a list of prospective suicide bombers in a file marked “Martyrs.”

The former head of global counter-terrorism at Britain’s MI6 intelligence service, Richard Barrett, has described the leak as “an absolute goldmine of information.”

The German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung claims it was the first outlet to obtain the documents.

Its foreign editor, Stefan Cornelius, has told the BBC they offer an unprecedented look at the inner workings of the organisation.

“Those documents are from the Turkish-Syrian border. They are offered there for money. It gives some proof on the state of ISIS right now, since many of those members and those close to the terrorist group are trying to make money, quite honestly. Because, obviously, ISIS is in a desperate financial state. So, you are offered documents, you are offered videos, you are offered artefacts from the ISIS, and you can, basically, buy this.”

A former member of the British government’s counter-extremism taskforce, Haras Rafiq, has told Sky News he believes the disclosure is only the beginning.

He points to what he believes are deeper divisions within IS.

“For me, what is really, really important is that there has been somebody within the organisation, within the area of land that ISIS occupies, that has been prepared to defect, that has been prepared to take his or her life into their own hands and actually leak information that they consider to be vital to the aims and objectives of the organisation. And this shows really, for me, that there’s a fracture within ISIS, within Daesh, the so-called Islamic State, and we’re going to see more and more defectors, I think.”

FYROM shuts border, closing refugee route to northern Europe

Officials in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia have announced they will no longer allow refugees and asylum seekers through the country’s borders.

杭州桑拿

The decision leaves about 14,000 people stranded along the Greek side of its border with Macedonia.

It is the sound of refugees and asylum seekers protesting the latest move by the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia at a camp on the Greek-Macedonia border.

Macedonia has decided to completely seal off its border, effectively meaning the route through the Balkans used to reach northern Europe is closed.

Macedonia had been allowing small numbers of Syrians and Iraqis through its border.

But it says it is stopping doing even that after neighbouring Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia tightened their policies.

These men waiting at the camp along the Greek-Macedonian border have expressed their frustration:

(First:) “We want to go to Germany or Sweden or Holland. No problem. We want open the border.” (Second:) “I feel sick of this, so tired and bored of this, just waiting for nothing. I wait and wait and wait, and then there is nothing. I know that there is nothing at the end, but I’m waiting.”

The Balkan countries were given the go ahead to put restrictions in place following a European Union summit with Turkey earlier in the week.

But the United Nations and human-rights groups have warned a provisional deal between EU and Turkey could be illegal.

Under the proposed measures, the bloc would send refugees and migrants back to Turkey in exchange for giving Turkey political and financial rewards.

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has expressed concern about the arrangement.

And Amnesty International has called the mass return of people a “death blow to the right to seek asylum.”

International Committee of the Red Cross president Peter Maurer says he shares those concerns.

“The baseline of our concern is that those people who are fleeing violence and persecution need protection, and I think, at the present moment, we don’t know how this plan will unfold, what it exactly means, but, from what we see and what we hear, it is not evident that those who need protection will get protection.”

Mr Maurer says he hopes the deal does not contravene international law.

“Whatever plan states are doing, that the best possible deal is found for those who flee contexts of violence, that they have protection and assistance where they need it. We really need to look at the details and to see that international law, in terms of non-refoulement — not sending back people to places where they face the dangers they were fleeing from — that this is implemented in a strict way.”

The EU insists the deal, due to be finalised next week, is aimed at bringing to an end the mass influx of more than a million people fleeing war and poverty.

Ikaruga hears footsteps running towards him from behind ….

Ikaruga returns to town with his “usual method . ”  Then, from the bridge, he watches the sunset .   Various things were jettisoned onto him in a short span of time .   As such, for the first time in a long while, he’d like to slowly contemplate all of it .

杭州桑拿

Ikaruga hears footsteps running towards him from behind .

“What a relief . Just as I expected… you came here . ” Divine, despite her heavy breathing, is relieved to see Ikaruga unharmed .

Ikaruga, however, in response to her joyful expression, stiffens . He gives her a distrustful stare and speaks with a low tone . “…tell me again . Why are you sticking by my side?”

“Why? Because no matter what, I want to rescue you…”

Ikaruga steps away from the bridge’s handrail and approaches Divine . “Are you, part of the C . C . Corporation?”

“Like I’ve said before, I already quit . ”

“Maybe, but can you prove it?”

Divine is baffled by Ikaruga’s attitude . His behavior is nothing like how he has been until now .

“I’ll tell you something good, chibi-neko…” Ikaruga bends his knees and lowers himself towards Divine’s ear . “I’ve remembered just about everything . ”

Divine looks at Ikaruga in shock, but he isn’t the Ikaruga she has come to know . On his expressionless face are sharp eyes full of mistrust and a smile radiating in self-confidence . She has only seen such an expression once before and it was on the 100 man PKer . The person who first wielded twin blades, than a great sword, and now a scythe and is revered as the strongest PKKer, [[The Terror of Death]] the PKKer Haseo .

The expression Ikaruga shows to Divine is exactly like Haseo’s . It don’t think it’s exclusive to that Avatar, but The Terror of Death is an apt alias .

“Well, what about that Yata P . C . ?”

Divine does her best to stay calm in order to avoid stimulating Ikaruga . “…Do you want to meet him?”

“That guy, I’m positive he’s a C . C . Corporation employee . There’s a lot I want to hear from him . ”

Even though an immediate answer is impossible, Ikaruga won’t wait long . Divine squeezes her eyes shut as she can’t respond to his expectations . She says, “I understand, however, since he doesn’t always stay in one place, I’ll try to contact him . ”

Divine, judging that separating from Ikaruga then and there would be too suspicious, sends ★ a short message . [Is Yata at the Serpent of Lore?]

[He isn’t here . Actually, saying he’s gone missing would be more accurate . Pi-san is frantically searching various areas for him . ]

Divine doesn’t have time to ponder why Yata would vanish . He just did so at the worst moment possible . She says, “I’m sorry, he doesn’t seem to be available . ”

“…in that case, I’ll wait . Notify me the instant he returns . ” Ikaruga then returns to leaning against the bridge’s railing and resumes watching the sunset .

Divine, unable to continue the conversation, nods and walks away . However, that Yata would vanish is strange . To begin with, for someone to go missing on the net is impossible . Furthermore, this is Yata .

Divine’s intuition prompts her to head for the Serpent of Lore . Once inside, she discovers Pi moving about in a rare fluster . Apparently, Yata truly is missing .

A call for everyone to gather is sent out and soon Haseo, Atoli, and blue haired steam gunner appear within at the Serpent of Lore .

Haseo expresses himself in a single breath . “Seriously, you need help for something like this?”

Pi, however, doesn’t have the leeway to rebuke him . She’s too busy typing away at the terminal in her ceaseless search for Yata . Not once do her hands stop .

Pi instantly switches on the monitor as she says, “…found him . ” The area displayed is the lowest level of a cave-type dungeon .

Divine loses composure for once and raises her voice as she says, “Hold on, that’s…”

Yata’s P . C . is wrapped within an orange pattern . The audio isn’t very clear, but he’s clearly in pain .

The steam gunner turns to Pi as he says, “Yata’s has an Avatar too!?”

Pi steps away from the Serpent of Lore as she says, “…Yeah, and judging from the current situation, there’s a high chance it’s going berserk . ”

Haseo stops Pi before she can get too far . “Are you planning on going alone?” At the same time, he signals the steam gunner with his eyes . The steam gunner nods and leaves the room ahead of Pi .

Divine follows the flow Haseo setup and says, “Although I might not be any help, let me come as well . ”

“Then ★ will stay here and monitor the situation for all of you . ”[1]

Pi calls out to Divine as she’s about to open the door, “At this time, you…” but is too late .

“Yata looking into Koch might have…” The door shutting drowns out that sentence’s conclusion .

Pi calms herself by taking a deep breath and runs after the three .

The bridge needs to be crossed in order to reach the Chaos Gate . As they reach Ikaruga’s spot, he reacts to Haseo’s presence .

Ikaruga, despite his head being assailed by a light noise, notices Divine . He says to himself, “…tch, what are you doing together with that guy?”

Then, after taking a moment to think it over, he follows them to the dome . Once he’s before the gate, he closes his eyes .

[To the same place as those from earlier…]

Ikaruga is enveloped by the Chaos Gate’s rings for the first time . The goddess appears to be granting him permission to use this method of transportation, but it’s only because P . C . aren’t able to travel to his destination .

Ikaruga appears on the third floor . He chose that spot in anticipation to Divine’s later arrival .

His first action is to advance forward . He turns left at the T-juncture, but comes across a dead end with two treasure boxes . With a click of his tongue towards his bad luck, he returns to the juncture and takes the other path . That’s when he hears something .

That isn’t the cry of a monster .

The sound is muffled, but it sounds somewhat like a groan .

Ikaruga dashes forth after the sound and soon comes across a head of the beast statue . He slows to a walk and spots the lord of the voice[2] . Crouched down inside is Yata .

He walks straight up to Yata and looks down at him . He then places the tip of his taichi against Yata’s forehead as he says, “I felt something strange back when we met at that area . Looks like I was right, you’re also an Epitaph User . ”

Ikaruga, for some reason he can’t explain, is overwhelmed with both anger and a sense of superiority at seeing Yata’s condition .

He reminds me of someone…

“I get it now, looking at you makes me think of that bastard, Amagi… You’re just like him, getting all of us involved just for the sake of “killing” truth . ”

He was the project’s chief executive, a man who couldn’t handle the seeing truth . Despite always acting like a bigshot, he was able to escape responsibility by becoming one of the victims .

Ikaruga’s expression relaxes . He glances at Yata and speaks with a laidback tone . “Mine’s a bit deteriorated, but I’m an Epitaph User too… I can teach you how to properly evoke yours . ”

Yata, despite being halfway to breaking down, snaps at Ikaruga . “I’m… perfectly fine… thank you . [3]”

Ikaruga’s expression doesn’t falter . Instead, he just lowers the hand holding his tachi and eases his eyes shut . He takes a light hearted deep breath and focuses on his consciousness while remembering how he felt at that time .

He finds that which connects them . Within him stirs a score composed of C major .

“…Come, my

Skeitth . ”

A swirl of patterns appear on Ikaruga’s body . Following soon after is the silhouette of his Avatar, the first form of Skeith . Yet, his is different from Haseo’s . Not only is it enveloped by noise, but there are areas where its pixels are fracturing . Even the horn arcing off the head cracks .

Ikaruga grits his teeth as he invokes a large scythe . It too deteriorates . The sickle’s edge crumbles into dust . Still, despite the Avatar’s form, it’s sufficient for harvesting the present Yata .

Ikaruga says, “I was planning on asking you some question, but that doesn’t matter anymore . The Epitaph Users, the C . C . Corporation, I’ll eliminate them all . ” As Skeith, Ikaruga swings his scythe down at Yata .

The blade doesn’t hit .

The wings of Pi’s Avater, Tarvos, protect Yata by wrapping around him . The figure causes Ikaruga to explode with rage . Tarvos was Amagi’s Avatar .

Skeith falls back and again hoists his scythe overhead .

“…Are you going to keep attacking this guy?” No one possesses the strength necessary to shatter Tarvos’s defense .

Tarvor’s wings spread apart enough to reveal a small gap . Pi exposes her main body to Skeith so she can shout, “Stop it! You were too reckless with summoning your Avatar…”

“And that stops me from using drain data!? Then I’ll use it against you bastards until I break, until everything turns into dust!”

Skeith’s words break Pi’s line of thought . She doesn’t know a thing about either the C . C . Corporation or Ikaruga . Yata wasn’t very clear in his explanations and the present doesn’t allow her to ask for clarification .

A small voice mutters, “…Behind, Gala Space . ”[4]

Tarvos stops moving due to shock . Not only is Skeith’s body slashed by a melody, Ikaruga’s body is pulled free from it . He’s unable to resist and drops onto the ground . Divine dashes up to his side at once in order to confirm his safety .

As Pi releases her Avatar, Haseo calms Yata’s rampant Avatar, Fidchell .

The cavern returns to its natural tranquility . From all around, drips of water can sometimes be heard .

Haseo looks over the still unconscious Ikaruga as he says, “Damn it, Yata . I thought this guy would be the only one giving us trouble . ”

Pi crosses her arms and says, “What sort of grudge does he bare against Yata-sama…?”

Divine, who’s next to Pi, stands up without saying a word and pulls out a copy of a report from the Real . “…I’d like to talk about the C . C . Corporation and the Avatars, and how they relate to Ikaruga . ”

“In that case, let’s switch locations to the Raven’s @HOME . ”

Divine nods at Pi’s suggestion and returns to town with Ikaruga .

Mere anger swings down,

To yield a sin .

Skeith’s words break Pi’s line of thought . She doesn’t know a thing about either the C . C . Corporation or Ikaruga . Yata wasn’t very clear in his explanations and the present doesn’t allow her to ask for clarification

A small voice mutters, “…Behind, Gala Space . ”[4].

.

Tarvos stops moving due to shock . Not only is Skeith’s body slashed by a melody, Ikaruga’s body is pulled free from it . He’s unable to resist and drops onto the ground . Divine dashes up to his side at once in order to confirm his safety

As Pi releases her Avatar, Haseo calms Yata’s rampant Avatar, Fidchell

The cavern returns to its natural tranquility . From all around, drips of water can sometimes be heard

Haseo looks over the still unconscious Ikaruga as he says, “Damn it, Yata . I thought this guy would be the only one giving us trouble . ”.

Pi crosses her arms and says, “What sort of grudge does he bare against Yata-sama…?”.

Divine, who’s next to Pi, stands up without saying a word and pulls out a copy of a report from the Real . “…I’d like to talk about the C . C . Corporation and the Avatars, and how they relate to Ikaruga . ”.

“In that case, let’s switch locations to the Raven’s @HOME . ”.

Divine nods at Pi’s suggestion and returns to town with Ikaruga

Haseo confronts Yata the moment they enter the Raven’s @HOME . “What is it with you always putting off explaining everything! How about trying something different?[1]”

“Now, now, calm yourself . Thanks to you, we were able to understand a lot about Ikaruga . Yata will tell you everything now . ”

Haseo looks towards the voice and finds Divine by his feet . A guild’s @HOME can’t be entered by non-guild member PC[2] . This realization coupled with Divine’s arrogant tone surges his wrath . “Bastard, didn’t you already quit the C . C . Corporation and become a normal player? How are you here?”

Divine wasn’t smiling to begin with . Now, her eyes widen and then narrow into slits . She says, “…This is my last task . ”

—I’m Skeith,

…—Skeith is me .

Divine says[3], “He’s also an Epitaph User . His avatar is the first phase, [The Terror of Death] Skeith, just like you . ”

Haseo can’t accept suddenly being told that an Epitaph User has the same Avatar as him . “Hold on, then what about my Skeith?”

Yata pushes up his glasses and continues the explanation . “There was a PC who was selected to be Skeith’s Epitaph User before you . That PC is Ikaruga . ”

Skeith is also a composition of data in the form of 1’s and 0’s . Part of that data has fused with Ikaruga’s data . Haseo’s custody over Skeith’s data is almost perfect . The small percentage inside Ikaruga is all that’s missing . Therefore, whenever the two are near one another, the imperfect Skeith of Ikaruga is strained by the Skeith of Haseo .

Divine, having just received Ikaruga’s data from ★ says, “Hence, Ikaruga said, ‘I’ll take it . ’ From what I understand, your Skeith tried incorporating Ikaruga’s data .

“So, why not just give me that guy’s data of Skeith?”

“We thought the same thing, but it’s impossible . ”

“How come?”

Divine glances towards Yata while giving the back of her ear a light scratch . At Yata’s nod, she says, “About Ikaruga, he’s an unrepatriated player . From what he’s told me, his consciousness isn’t the only thing trapped within The World, but his senses as well . Haseo, don’t you also feel the flow of time here in The World?”

“……Did AIDA get involved with him when he became an avatar?”

“In other words, Ikaruga isn’t just an unrepatriated player, he is an Avatar and Skeith itself . As such, restoring Skeith’s data to you would come with Ikaruga’s data . [4]”

Silence stems once Divine finishes . There are no players in the closed area to disturb them, but an interruption eventually does occur . The graphic updates server displays a scene where time has stopped . The clouds, plants, and lake’s surface are still like in a picture . Regardless, there is a fluctuation of movement within the display . First is the eyelids, then the hair, the neck, the arms…

Ikaruga grimaces from his headache as he slowly rises . This headache, however, is different from his previous ones . While suffering from it, he remembers .

He clenches his right hand as he confirms his thoughts one by one . “…I, know Skeith . I know the way Skeith calls out to me . I know the other avatars too . ”

He straightens his disheveled clothes and once more looks up at the sky . The unchanging clouds may as well be drawn on blue paper . As his gaze returns to him, he recalls the conversation of the two men called Haseo and Yata .

“So, that’s why I “can’t hear”…… your voice . ”

The world that was always on Ikaruga’s side up until now is not that place . Within the world, what speaks to Ikaruga is The World . His partner is the very goddess who abruptly vanished .

“…Aura, I can’t return if you aren’t here . ”

Ikaruga’s ability to transfer without a gate is because he can speak with the world . Right now, however, his present area is isolated . The place is similar to fragments that spilled out from the goddess’s bosom . Even with a Chaos Gate, he wouldn’t be able to leave . He isn’t able to operate gates .

…I’ll just walk . I’ll go crazy if I just stay still . Even though other fields are visible, they are still and silent . It’s the same as going in the dark .

Ikaruga eventually reaches a temple with the beast statue . The Chaos Gate isn’t spinning .

The ceremony for calling back the goddess was supposed to be instantaneous, yet the goddess didn’t reveal herself on the stage Amagi prepared . Instead, everyone was struck by a crash . The area was attacked and everything stopped[5] .

Ikaruga is collapsed on the ground . From what he sees, time has been stolen from the area . More importantly, he can’t find Amagi . That Epitaph User is no longer around . But, in the distance, something is moving .

He runs towards that direction and spots 5 human PC covered in black standing around something . At their feet is a large, light pink, hat . [6] It belongs to the Epitaph User of Innis, Ikaruga’s “real” friend .

They speak among themselves . “I suppose this PC is useless now too . ”

“Contact the medical division and initiate Kodachi Makoto . [7]”

“…Amagi also had to go and cause trouble . ”

“Well, at least it’s something that can be cleaned up within the company . ”

“It’s too bad for them, but we’ll be able to cut time and effort by concealing the project . ”

Ikaruga draws his tachi without even realizing it . A PC notices and signals for his companions to scatter . Ikaruga’s slash splits the sky and as a result destroys the little balance remaining after the recent impact .

A person appears before Ikaruga like a black wall . Ikaruga glares at the person’s white mask while focusing more strength into his hand . He says, “…C . C . Corporation personnel . ”

“Correct, but pal, you don’t need to know anything more than that . ”

“…… . tsu . ”

…It hurts .

An arm flew out of the shadow and a fist connected with Ikaruga’s stomach . Even though they are in a net game, pain courses through his body . He collapses while holding his stomach within his arms . At the edge of his blurry vision are true PCs . He won’t be able to reach them no matter how hard he stretches his arm .

They say, “What phase is he in?”

“I’m pretty sure he’s in the first phase . ”

“If he can move this much, then it’s still inside…”

“Then…, let’s…”[8]

Ikaruga can barely hear their conversation anymore . Losing consciousness releases him of his anger and regret . Afterwards, he can only wait as his fear and pain are slowly peeled away along with his identity .

Ikaruga is confined within a bluish green space as Skeith’s data is stripped away from him . Along with it flows his memories . In the end, the collection of Skeith’s data is imperfect . The C . C . Corporation can only halt their operation and return Ikaruga to The World .

“…That’s right, that’s who I am . ” Ikaruga once more draws his taichi as he recalls the black PCs . He’ll cut down the next administrator that appears before him .

Those far off administrators, however, can vanish without making a sound . Are they taking advantage of their administrator privileges to utilize an isolated area? Or did the last bits of my consciousness show me a dream?

“I swear, next time, I’ll cut down each one of them…”

A breeze brushes through Ikaruga’s hair as he eases his taichi back into its sheath . Time has returned, the area is back to normal .

Isolation, the incident within a small world .

杭州桑拿

Divine stops inside the chaos gate dome .   …Except, what kind of reason should I give him? (- . -; )  Considering how he reacted the last time they met, he’ll hate this idea .   Ikaruga was assailed by a noise and headache the first time he ran into Haseo .   No one would want to meet such a person .

Divine has those thoughts in mind when she reaches his side .   With a contrived, cheerful voice, she says, “Ika~ rugaa!”

Ikaruga looks at Divine .   Recently, he has been speaking less and not going to areas as much .  There must be a reason to why he returned to how he first was, but Divine can’t think of any .   He stares at her for a few seconds and then looks back at the sunset

Divine says, “Geez, you’re not cute at all…”

“…What was that for?”

Divine thought he’d get angry, but there was no strength behind his words .   His attitude is one filled with nothing but apathy .   She says, “Aren’t you getting rusty not hunting anything these past few days?”

After a few moments, he says, “…so?”

“How about going to an area once in a while?  I’ll go with you (-ω-)”

Ikaruga glances up towards the sky, then towards Divine .   He says, “Once, in a while?”

“Don’t you feel like it?”

Ikaruga gives a light nod to Divine’s urging .

Ikaruga comes to a stop before the chaos gate .   He places his right hand behind his back as he looks down at Divine .   “So, where to?”

Divine double checks a copy of Yata’s email as she says, “No need to worry, I’ve already picked a place out,” and then inputs the word .

For some reason, Ikaruga appears to be feeling nostalgic .   However, even before this, he should have been able to transfer “normally” with this method .

Divine says, “…?  I’m starting, Ikaruga!”

Faint light glitters from the gate and the two are transferred to the area as Ikaruga gives an absentminded, “Ye- yeah . “

They reach a type of grassy plain where the gentle breeze of a sunny day rolls the grass and clouds .   Divine begins looking around as though in search of something .   That’s when Ikaruga spots a target and walks towards it .   He speaks in reference to the monster he discovered, “…Hey, what’s the level here?”

“Etto… about 30  σ(^ω^;)”

The area’s level doesn’t suit Ikaruga, it is unfit as a hunting ground .   Divine realizes Ikaruga has discovered that their true purpose for being there isn’t to level and gives him a mischievous smile .   She knows that giving him an excuse is useless, so she looks Ikaruga in the eye and says, “There is someone I want you to meet .   I tricked you like this because I was afraid you might not want to meet him if you heard his name .   Sorry . “

Ikaruga stays silent for a while and then gives Divine his back .   “Who is it you want me to meet?”

Divine’s worry that Ikaruga would go back after learning the truth ends as a needless anxiety .   He instead stops looking for monsters and searches for the P . C .   Divine says, “You’ve already meet him once, Ikaruga…  His name is [Haseo], an adept rouge .

A wrinkle appears between Ikaruga’s eyebrows upon hearing the name, “Haseo . ”  He remains as calm as he can and says, “That black adept rouge?”  They had a coincidental meeting on the bridge and discovered that Ikaruga is assailed by a furious noise and indescribable pain when they’re near each other .   Ikaruga has the worst impression possible of him; meeting him is an utter act of foolishness, yet his expression is undisturbed .

Divine notices and grabs his arm before he can change his mind .   “You’ll meet with him?  Then, let’s hurry .   He’s over this way!”

Ikaruka leans forward as he runs due to being pulled by the smaller Divine .   “He- hey…”  He stumbles a few times, but doesn’t stop as they run across the field .

Divine stops her feet at a hill and looks up at Ikaruga .  “He’s up ahead . “

Ikaruga says, “…If, the thing from before happens?”

“Everything will be fine, I’m here for you .  There’s another person helping and keeping watch as well . “

Ikaruga takes confidence with Divine’s assurance and begins walking up the slope .   Standing at the top with crossed arms is the adept rouge .   His black equipment is such a contrast that the blue sky looks like it was clipped away .

“You Ikaruga[1]?”  Haseo has trouble saying Ikaruga’s name .

Ikaruga gives a small nod, but makes little effort to close the distance .   One reason is because he’s warry of the noise .   As for Haseo, he probably just isn’t interested in getting alone with Ikaruga .

Ikaruga speaks after a moment of silence, “Did you also hear that noise and get a headache back when we first met?”

“No, I just happened to be going that way to begin with…  That said, didn’t you say, “Skeith,” to me?”

Ikaruga barely has any memory from when that noise started back then .   He wasn’t able to answer Divine back when she asked him something similar .   He says, “That Skeith you mentioned, is it something dangerous I need to know about?”

Haseo stares down Ikaruga as he says, “I don’t know if it’s dangerous or not, but how do you know the name Skeith?”  He doesn’t have a full grasp on the person… the P . C . before him .   Yata only told him Ikaruga’s name and job along with a rough description of his appearance .   However, since he knows the name of an Avatar, he should also have some sort of connection with the C . C . Corporation and be associated with the G . U . conglomerate .   He might even be an Epitaph user .   So should I really be talking with him about Raven and Avatars?

Ikaruga thinks about Haseo’s question for a while before saying, “I know about it somehow, but I don’t know .   It might be intuitive… something I was able to pick up on from a corner of my brain because of that headache . “

Haseo is irked by the response .   Intuitive, in other words, he doesn’t know anything about Skeith .   He gives up thinking and scratches his head as he releases a sigh .

Ikaruga then asks a simple question, “Why did we meet for?”  It’s something he has been wondering about .   They’re only two people who spoke a few words on the bridge, after all .

Haseo says, “Well, in my case, my [boss] told me to come to this area .   You?”

“Something similar to that . “

Neither of them decided to meet the other of their own free will .   Even the reason for being there is becoming unclear .   The gap between Haseo’s eyebrows crease as he realizes and says, “In that case, neither of us need to be in this place . ”  Didn’t Yata say directly meeting with him would be good for talking about the Avatars?

Haseo begins taking strides down the hill .   Naturally, he walks towards Ikaruga, but Ikaruga doesn’t move .   He either forgot about the noise, or is uncertain and doubts anything will happen .

Ikaruga’s negligence is returned to him as he’s overwhelmed by pain and noise more potent than the previous time .   He drops down and holds his head on reflex .   His long obi and the hems of his clothes come loose and spread across the green ground[2] .

Haseo stops and drops to a knee to get a better look at Ikaruga’s complexion .   After speaking for a bit, he’s unable to claim they have nothing to do with each other anymore .   He says, “Hey, is this that noise again!?”  He can’t tell what is going on with Ikaruga from the outside, but that he’s suffering is obvious .

The noise prevents Ikaruga from answering .   It sounds is like a sandstorm is scrapping around inside his head .

Haseo clicks his tongue and grasps Ikaruga’s shoulders .   His voice might not be able to get through, but he’s hopeful a physical touch will .   Instead, the action aggravates Ikaruga’s agony .

Ikaruga’s hands go from holding his head to falling limp onto the ground .   With his body arched upward and his head tilted back, he gazes at the sky with wide open eyes and say, “… . I- I’ll…

“I’ll take it…”

Haseo creates some distance between himself and Ikaruga, yet Ikaruga continues his delirious ramble .   He says, “I’m, Skeith… Skeith is me…  You’re me?[3]”

Yata and Divine appear as though they waiting for that moment .   Yata speaks with an exceedingly composed tone .   He says, “This… is a stronger reaction than I expected . ”  He’s calm stands in complete contrast to the fidgetting Divine at his side .

Haseo turns to Yata and demands an explanation .   “What the heck is going on with that guy?  What’s his relationship with Skeith?”

Divine says, “…We’ll talk back in town .   Right now, protecting that data takes priority . ”  She then transfers away with Haseo before he can ask for further clarification .

Data protection .

Prepare an impenetrable area to completely isolate Ikaruga .

Prevent Skeith’s data within Ikaruga from flowing out .

Divine thought hed get angry, but there was no strength behind his words .   His attitude is one filled with nothing but apathy .   She says, Arent you getting rusty not hunting anything these past few days?.

After a few moments, he says, …so?.

How about going to an area once in a while?  Ill go with you (-ω-).

Ikaruga glances up towards the sky, then towards Divine .   He says, Once, in a while?.

Dont you feel like it?.

Ikaruga gives a light nod to Divines urging

Ikaruga comes to a stop before the chaos gate .   He places his right hand behind his back as he looks down at Divine .   So, where to?.

Divine double checks a copy of Yatas email as she says, No need to worry, Ive already picked a place out, and then inputs the word

For some reason, Ikaruga appears to be feeling nostalgic .   However, even before this, he should have been able to transfer normally with this method

Divine says, …?  Im starting, Ikaruga!.

Faint light glitters from the gate and the two are transferred to the area as Ikaruga gives an absentminded, Ye- yeah . .

They reach a type of grassy plain where the gentle breeze of a sunny day rolls the grass and clouds .   Divine begins looking around as though in search of something .   Thats when Ikaruga spots a target and walks towards it .   He speaks in reference to the monster he discovered, …Hey, whats the level here?.

Etto… about 30  σ(^ω^;).

The areas level doesnt suit Ikaruga, it is unfit as a hunting ground .   Divine realizes Ikaruga has discovered that their true purpose for being there isnt to level and gives him a mischievous smile .   She knows that giving him an excuse is useless, so she looks Ikaruga in the eye and says, There is someone I want you to meet .   I tricked you like this because I was afraid you might not want to meet him if you heard his name .   Sorry . .

Ikaruga stays silent for a while and then gives Divine his back .   Who is it you want me to meet?.

Divines worry that Ikaruga would go back after learning the truth ends as a needless anxiety .   He instead stops looking for monsters and searches for the P . C .   Divine says, Youve already meet him once, Ikaruga…  His name is [Haseo], an adept rouge

A wrinkle appears between Ikarugas eyebrows upon hearing the name, Haseo .   He remains as calm as he can and says, That black adept rouge?  They had a coincidental meeting on the bridge and discovered that Ikaruga is assailed by a furious noise and indescribable pain when theyre near each other .   Ikaruga has the worst impression possible of him; meeting him is an utter act of foolishness, yet his expression is undisturbed

Divine notices and grabs his arm before he can change his mind .   Youll meet with him?  Then, lets hurry .   Hes over this way!.

Ikaruka leans forward as he runs due to being pulled by the smaller Divine .   He- hey…  He stumbles a few times, but doesnt stop as they run across the field

Divine stops her feet at a hill and looks up at Ikaruga .  Hes up ahead . .

Ikaruga says, …If, the thing from before happens?.

Everything will be fine, Im here for you .  Theres another person helping and keeping watch as well . .

Ikaruga takes confidence with Divines assurance and begins walking up the slope .   Standing at the top with crossed arms is the adept rouge .   His black equipment is such a contrast that the blue sky looks like it was clipped away

You Ikaruga[1]?  Haseo has trouble saying Ikarugas name

Ikaruga gives a small nod, but makes little effort to close the distance .   One reason is because hes warry of the noise .   As for Haseo, he probably just isnt interested in getting alone with Ikaruga

Ikaruga speaks after a moment of silence, Did you also hear that noise and get a headache back when we first met?.

No, I just happened to be going that way to begin with…  That said, didnt you say, Skeith, to me?.

Ikaruga barely has any memory from when that noise started back then .   He wasnt able to answer Divine back when she asked him something similar .   He says, That Skeith you mentioned, is it something dangerous I need to know about?.

Haseo stares down Ikaruga as he says, I dont know if its dangerous or not, but how do you know the name Skeith?  He doesnt have a full grasp on the person… the P . C . before him .   Yata only told him Ikarugas name and job along with a rough description of his appearance .   However, since he knows the name of an Avatar, he should also have some sort of connection with the C . C . Corporation and be associated with the G . U . conglomerate .   He might even be an Epitaph user .   So should I really be talking with him about Raven and Avatars?.

Ikaruga thinks about Haseos question for a while before saying, I know about it somehow, but I dont know .   It might be intuitive… something I was able to pick up on from a corner of my brain because of that headache . .

Haseo is irked by the response .   Intuitive, in other words, he doesnt know anything about Skeith .   He gives up thinking and scratches his head as he releases a sigh

Ikaruga then asks a simple question, Why did we meet for?  Its something he has been wondering about .   Theyre only two people who spoke a few words on the bridge, after all

Haseo says, Well, in my case, my [boss] told me to come to this area .   You?.

Something similar to that . .

Neither of them decided to meet the other of their own free will .   Even the reason for being there is becoming unclear .   The gap between Haseos eyebrows crease as he realizes and says, In that case, neither of us need to be in this place .   Didnt Yata say directly meeting with him would be good for talking about the Avatars?.

Haseo begins taking strides down the hill .   Naturally, he walks towards Ikaruga, but Ikaruga doesnt move .   He either forgot about the noise, or is uncertain and doubts anything will happen

Ikarugas negligence is returned to him as hes overwhelmed by pain and noise more potent than the previous time .   He drops down and holds his head on reflex .   His long obi and the hems of his clothes come loose and spread across the green ground[2]

Haseo stops and drops to a knee to get a better look at Ikarugas complexion .   After speaking for a bit, hes unable to claim they have nothing to do with each other anymore .   He says, Hey, is this that noise again!?  He cant tell what is going on with Ikaruga from the outside, but that hes suffering is obvious

The noise prevents Ikaruga from answering .   It sounds is like a sandstorm is scrapping around inside his head

Haseo clicks his tongue and grasps Ikarugas shoulders .   His voice might not be able to get through, but hes hopeful a physical touch will .   Instead, the action aggravates Ikarugas agony

Ikarugas hands go from holding his head to falling limp onto the ground .   With his body arched upward and his head tilted back, he gazes at the sky with wide open eyes and say, … . I- Ill….

Ill take it….

Haseo creates some distance between himself and Ikaruga, yet Ikaruga continues his delirious ramble .   He says, Im, Skeith… Skeith is me…  Youre me?[3].

Yata and Divine appear as though they waiting for that moment .   Yata speaks with an exceedingly composed tone .   He says, This… is a stronger reaction than I expected .   Hes calm stands in complete contrast to the fidgetting Divine at his side

Haseo turns to Yata and demands an explanation .   What the heck is going on with that guy?  Whats his relationship with Skeith?.

Divine says, …Well talk back in town .   Right now, protecting that data takes priority .  She then transfers away with Haseo before he can ask for further clarification

Data protection

Prepare an impenetrable area to completely isolate Ikaruga

Prevent Skeiths data within Ikaruga from flowing out

Cracked Sleep.

《破られた眠り》.

T/N: Well, this chapter was exciting .   A lot is starting to make sense, but I get the feeling 70% of this will be thrown out the window as the story develops and more information is revealed .   I cant wait to see how this contact, literally, with Haseo will affect Ikaruga

Some of the subjects are company employees, but we’ve also involved some students . The results from the previous incident dictate that interfering with the A . I . Aura is dangerous . Still, no matter how compatible someone is, students are unrelated . At any rate, regardless of the results, we must avoid harming the subjects . With Amagi also participating as a subject, I like to believe she also desires minimizing the risks .

Day One,

We decided to extend the length of regular maintenance for this . We didn’t begin by using general P . C . [1] Each person logged in using a P . C . hosting an epitaph . With no rejections, the first stage is cleared .

I am participating as a harvest cleric in order to provide assistance to the subjects . Some of the children are playing net games for the first time and need to be taught the basics .

A week has passed and no particular abnormalities have been detected . I believe that the members with high precision ratio have now been gathered, however, I’m writing this down because of a concern . Off in the distance, the P . C . controlled by management flickered . We don’t just need to monitor the subjects, but our fellow staff members as well .

Two students complained about poor health after another week . Having someone who doesn’t have a gaming habit manipulate a controller for 10 hours a day is unreasonable . Regardless, this physical fatigue clearly doesn’t stem from avatar possession . The 2 will be given some rest while the remaining 6 move onto the next stage .

This experiment with avatars has much to offer[2] . This is the first time such an endeavor has ever been attempted . I doubt even Amagi can perfectly foresee what will happen from now on .

Earlier, I went to a dungeon with a student who operated a blade brandier . His P . C . name is Ikaruga . He’s a modern day gamer and prefers to play alone rather than in groups . We didn’t speak much . I told him to follow my instructions to which he responded, “Yes . ”

The epitaph installed in Ikaruga’s P . C . is the 1stPhase, Skeith . Its alias is the Terror of Death .

The 8 phases are recorded to have been decomposed by Aura in the previous case . As according to the manual, I… I increased the mental pressure against Ikaruga . Whenever a player is psychologically cornered, a possession becomes that much more likely .

I wonder if there is a better method of carrying out this experiment . We’ve somehow collected personal information on not just him, but his family members as well . So far, this isn’t an invasion of privacy . However, if the subject were to learn of these documents, not just this project, but the C . C . Company itself, would end .

I am carefully pilling up questions and slowly guiding him along . Doing it like this, I sincerely believe I want to make this clear .

Ikaruga successfully made contact with Skeith 3 days later . Gorre, Magus, and Fidchell awakened afterwards . Macha will be difficult as it was once possessed by an A . I . Tarvos is personally being handled by Amagi . Its situation is being concealed .

“Document with Password” (There are a few discrepancies in the factor for Tarvos . I think something might have happened between the designer and Amagi . )

With Amagi not yet making contact with Tarvos, I believe the leadership is being affected .

A month has passed since this project began . The factor for Innis is starting to affect its player . She is a student from the same vocational school as Ikaruga . I often see her speaking to him during breaks .

Her feet go numb . That shouldn’t happen with the moderate breaks being provided from staying seated . Yet, she loses feeling from her toes all the way to her calves .

A staff member and I immediately pressed Amagi to investigate if this development was the effect on the Real that I feared . Amagi surprisingly kept her composure and decided to go to an area with her P . C . I also worry about Ikaruga, but it seems like I’ll be allowed to partake in today’s assessment .

For some reason, the other staff members and I were excluded from the field transfer . The area word was conveyed to the system, but I can’t even guess how . From what I can tell, only 3 people know what is happening .

The girl’s numbness appears to have disappeared upon returning from the area . Was it the area? Or did it have something that could heal her? Various conjunctions were tossed around by the staff, but they soon became meaningless .

Amagi may have also forbidden Ikaruga’s player from discussing what happened . His replies were, “I don’t remember,” and “I was too far away . ”

The worst outcome to this project happened 4 days later . The 8 subjects, including Amagi, didn’t return . We lost contact with them during the middle of the goddess revival ceremony . Did they make some sort of contact with the Eight Phases?

We later understood that their brains underwent a high voltage load . While some subjects died, others became comatose .

The family members of the subjects are still being lead to believe that the project has not ended . Fabricated data is being submitted on the experiment’s progress . Nobody knows about these victims .

Any further information reported on the R . A . Project is deemed unnecessary . Continued documentation is terminated .

T/N: Well, this answers a lot of questions . The biggest one is how Ikaruga learned about that spring . I wonder if it’s something created by the system? Can any . hack players enlighten us? The second is about the connection between Ikaruga and Haseo, or more accurately, Ikaruga and Skeith . Well, there isn’t much more I can say about this chapter .

Thanks for reading,

A P . C . stands before that terminal without making a sound .   On his face is a set of small spectacles .   His attire is reminiscent of an Asian monk’s and he holds, in contrast to his physique, a folding fan .   He is Yata, the Raven Guild’s Master, and the axle holding together project G . U .

The only P . C . who can enter a guild’s @HOME are the guild’s members .   The Raven Guild’s @HOME is particularly special in this regard since it isn’t a guild that accepts “General P . C . ”  Regardless, a small shadow appears behind Yata .

Yata doesn’t turn around .   He merely readjusts his spectacles with his fan .   “…You’re either a hacker, or someone from the inside . “

The shadow doesn’t cower and walks straight towards Yata .   “I’m not a hacker, but you could say I’m similar to one .   I’m just a former employee taking advantage of lingering privileges . “

The shadow steps into Yata’s line of sight as she speaks .   Standing before him is the cat type P . C . , Divine .   Yata’s inhuman way of questioning remains the same as he says, “A former employee who still has access to this place…”  His tone changes into one seeking confirmation as he says, “…You’re part of the R . A . project . “

Divine speaks with a calm tone as she says, “Yes, I’m a fool who was unable to prevent that absurd experiment . “

Yata breaks away from his interrogative style of speech and glances towards Divine .   “Didn’t two employees resign from there…?”

“Hee, so you also took note of a rank and file employee .   That person is off doing something else .   Since those up top can’t really be trusted, we don’t really stick together all that much . “

Yata once more faces his terminal .   “…There’s nothing about Amagi[1] here . “

Divine passes her report about Ikaruga to Yata as she says, “I did not come here to discuss the past, I came for the sake of the future . “

Yata raises his eyebrows for a moment .   He opens the report and skims it .   “I see, Amagi didn’t just gaffe .  Something like this was also left behind . ”  He closes the file and beings copying the information into the Serpent of Lore .

“I believe that child was the first victim .   But even if I help him here, there’s nothing I can do out in the Real . “

Yata returns the report to Divine as he says, “Have you made contact with him?”

Divine’s tail barely sways as she takes back the report .  “Only once during the experiment .   After that, it was always in The World .   I don’t know where he is in the Real . “

Divine then adds, “It may be too late now, but… I still want to atone for it . “

“How?”

According to the report, not many people know about Ikaruga .

“The most feasible method of rescuing Ikaruga…”

“”Skeith’s restoration[2] . “”  Yata and Divine come to a magnificent agreement .

Yata then points out a flaw .   “However, the present Ikaruga exists as data .   There’s a high possibility that he would flow into Haseo . “

Divine crosses her arms as she says, “I’ve also wondered about that .   Perhaps Ikaruga can act normally despite being data because of Skeith . ”  In other words, Ikaruga’s existence will be compromised if he’s separated from Skeith .

Right now, even with Yata’s knowledge, that is the only method to help Ikaruga Divine can conceive .

Yata places a hand on the terminal and looks at the monitor .   “To return his soul to the Real, we first need to know how it’s binded to The World . “

Divine tiptoes towards the door as she says, “First off, converting human thought into data is impossible .   Ikaruga’s mind, however, isn’t fully patterned . “

Yata doesn’t turn to face Divine, but still says, “…If you learn something, let’s meet here again . “

There is little time .

Divine says, “Thanks…  We, might call ourselves this world’s administrators, but I get the feeling we don’t know much of anything about it…”

Yata continues to work in silence once Divine leaves the Raven Guild’s @HOME .

T/N: And the mystery deepens .   No, I am clueless as to Amagi’s identity .   The . hack wiki states that she’s a 14 year old girl from . hack//links, so this one is probably a different person .   More will probably be revealed further into the novel .   See you all then,
